Vertical Pumps

The CAMAC Vertical Pump provides the means to safe, efficient handling of highly corrosive solutions.  The Material being pumped never contacts any metal – only corrision proof plastic.  Simply mount the pump on the edge of your tank and operate from either inside or outside the tank.  Flow rates range from 10 to 360 GPM and pressures up to 60 PSIG.  All CAMAC Pumps are driven by heavy duty, energy efficient TEFC motors.

The Uniquie design of the CAMAC Vertical Pump features only 3 major parts and eliminates the need for seals and packing glands. Therefore, seal wear  caused by abrasion is eliminated assuring long trouble free operation.

Horizontal Pumps

Horizontal Pumps are engineered for the transfer and circulation of corrosive liquids, the CAMAC semi-opened impeller increases the efficiencies and prevents clogging.  Camac’s newly designed impeller cooling vents circulate solution through-out the non-metallic bellows seals and cavities.  This reduces heat build up in the seal assembly resulting in longer service life and reduced maintenance.  All models can be equipped with an optional water flushed seal which eliminates problems attributed to abrasive crystalline and electroless solutions.

Rubber lined Pump

CAMAC acid-proof, rubber lined pumps are engineered to protect all metallic parts from corrosive liquids, prevent contamination of solutions, and to assure long trouble free pump life.  The volute case with flanged or hose nozzle connections is completely lined with heavy, high temperature (200ºF), acid proof, non-contaminating vulcanized sheet of rubber. The impeller and seal plug are made of CPVC plastic.

Magnetic driven pumps

The “M” Series Magnetic Driven Pumps represent the latest state of the art design in pumps. The “M” Series has been engineered to meet the most severe operating conditions. When fitted with a carbon bearing, the “M” Series will allow for periods of dry running. The self radiating structure, in addition to the non-contact principle with front and rear supported spindle, greatly improves the ability to withstand cavitation and running against a closed discharge valve. “M” Series pumps are highly recommended for use in various production processes such as filtering, spraying, washing, plating and etching in surface treatment applications. The “M” Series uses a split volute pump casing that forms a vortex chamber. The volute limits the liquid getting out of the impeller and returns it to the pump, which is guided to the discharge port to enhance overall efficiency. Through heat dispersion holes provided in fixed portions of the impeller and the magnet capsule, the liquid around the spindle and bearing is forced to circulate. Heat generated by friction can be reduced effectively, thereby preventing any thermal deformation and reducing wear. “M” Series pumps utilized standard NEMA frame motors making them easy to install.

Camac Filter Systems

RUBBER LINED FILTER SYSTEMS

CAMAC Rubber Lined Filters are ruggedly constructed to provide long life with minimum maintenance under hard continuous service.  These job proven units are completely lined and prohibit solution to metal contact.  CAMAC rubber lined centrifugal pumps with non-clogging open impellers are matched to each filter to provide the best in service and operating efficiency.  Filters are equipped with your choice of monofilament sleeves (for precoat) polypro felt sleeves, wound polypro cartridges or polypro bags, utilizing flow reversal for high capacity solids collection. All CAMAC filter systems can be purchased to run with or without carbon cartridges. The system filters and/or carbon treats solution with granular carbon packs or precoated powdered carbon and filter aid.  All systems are available with a slurry system, for chemical make-up , pump priming, or precoating.  Optional water back washing capabilities combined with the slurry system reduce down time and media waste disposal.

DISC FILTER SYSTEMS

CAMAC Disc Filter Systems offer flow ratings as high as 8000 gallons per hour and filtration surface area up to 5600 square inches.  The use of horizontal discs filtration process increases volume, reduces contamination, and lowers filtration media disposal cost. The filter disc will pre-coat much more readily and uniformly.  The disc is consequently more efficient in particle retention than most cartridges with the same micron rating. The disc will also accept pre-coat more evenly and gravity keeps it in place. The interlocking horizontal disc insures positive sealing and are guaranteed   not to by-pass the contaminants that lead to surface roughness and rejected parts.  Hiogh solids loading and uniform deposition allows for extended running times without change outs.

CORROSION PROOF FILTER SYSTEMS

CAMAC Corrosion Proof Filter systems are available with either cartridge, tube and sleeve, or bag filter media which can be easily interchanged in the field. Units filter and/or treat with carbon and filter aid.  Slurry systemsare available on all sizes to assist in chemical make-up, pump priming and precoating, and come equiped with all interconnecting hardware.Standard units are made of polypro, CPVC, or PVC. No metal comes in contact with the solution.  They are easily cleaned, the rigid elements allow for easy removal of filter media.  Sturdy polypro or CPVC filter tubes cannot clog or disintegrate.  All CAMAC filter systems are supplied complete with a plastic base and can be coupled with a horizontal, vertical , or magnetic driven pump.
